Installation Guide

Get KrackPro up and running in under 10 minutes. Download, install, connect your AI provider, and start your first interview session.

Part A — Download & Install KrackPro

STEP 01

Download KrackPro

Visit krackpro.pages.dev in your browser.
Click "Start 7-Day Free Trial" in the header, or scroll to the bottom and click "Download KrackPro for Windows".

STEP 02

Allow the download

Your browser may show a security warning since KrackPro is a new application.
Click "Download anyway" (or "Keep" depending on your browser) to proceed.

STEP 03

Unblock the file

Navigate to the folder where the file was downloaded (usually your Downloads folder).
Right-click the downloaded file and select Properties.
At the bottom of the General tab, check the "Unblock" checkbox.
Click Apply, then OK.

💡 TIP: This step is required because Windows blocks files downloaded from the internet. Without unblocking, the installer may not run correctly.

STEP 04

Run the installer

Double-click the downloaded file to launch the installer.
If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
Choose the installation location (the default is fine for most users).
Click Next, then Install. Wait for the installation to complete.
Click Finish when done.

Part B — Set Up Your AI Provider API Key

KrackPro works with multiple AI providers. You only need one.

Enter your API key and model name from any of these providers:

ℹ️ NOTE: The steps below show Mistral as an example (it has a free tier). The process is similar for any provider — just get your API key from their dashboard.

STEP 05

Create a Mistral AI account (or your chosen provider)

Open console.mistral.ai in your browser.
Click Sign Up (you can use your Google account for quick setup).
After sign-up, enter your name as the Organisation Name.
Accept the terms and conditions, then click Create Organization.

STEP 06

Subscribe to the free plan

Once logged in, click API Keys in the left sidebar.
Click Choose Plan, then select "Experiment for Free".
Click Accept Terms and Subscribe.
Enter your phone number and verify with the OTP code sent to you.

STEP 07

Generate your API key

After verification, go to API Keys (or paste this URL): https://console.mistral.ai/home?profile_dialog=api-keys
Click "Add New Key".
Set the name to KrackPro.
Set the expiry date to match your subscription period (e.g. 30 days).
Click "Create new key".

⚠️ IMPORTANT: Your API key will only be shown once. Copy it immediately and save it somewhere safe. You will need it in the next step.

Part C — Configure & Start Your First Session

STEP 08

Activate your license

Open KrackPro from your Start Menu or Desktop shortcut.
On the activation screen, enter the license key provided to you (check your purchase confirmation email).
Click Activate.

STEP 09

Configure your session

Provider: Select your AI provider (Mistral)
LLM API Key: Paste the API key from your chosen provider
Base URL: Auto-fills based on provider (e.g. https://api.mistral.ai/v1 for Mistral)
Model: Enter the model name (mistral-large-2512)
Transcription Model: base — Fast (74 MB)
System Prompt: Customize with your role and experience, e.g. "You are a candidate interviewing for the [Role Name] role with [X] years of experience. Answer the interview questions in a professional manner."
Click "Start Interview" when ready.

💡 TIP: Change the system prompt for each interview to match the specific role. Be specific about the role, experience level, and relevant technologies.

KrackPro is now listening to your interview.
The transcription panel shows what the interviewer says,
and the AI response panel suggests answers in real-time.
